ParentingMoves

One action.
Each day.
Backed by real science.

Parents of young children are hungry for guidance they can trust. ParentingMoves gives it to them — every single day, in plain language, grounded in peer-reviewed research, and delivered through the programs and platforms families already use.

The Problem

Parents want guidance they can trust. The field isn't reaching them where they are.

57% of parents of young children regularly look for parenting advice online. What they find rarely reflects the science. Most parenting content on social media is anecdotal at best — and the algorithms surfacing it are optimized for engagement, not accuracy.  Meanwhile, parents are more connected to social media than to any program or professional service.

One a Day is a national daily social media campaign — 365 posts a year, one every day — that translates the best available child development research into a single, specific action any parent can take today. Grounded in evidence. Designed to empower, not overwhelm.

Every week, we scan peer-reviewed journals and research databases for new findings. When we find something actionable, we build it into a new post within days. Parents who follow One-a-Day aren't just getting the classics — they're getting the latest science, continuously, in a format they can actually use.

What We're Working On Now

Testing in real programs. Hearing from real parents. Building support that makes a difference.

One a Day is launching its first pilot — a six-week test with programs on the ground.  The goal: learn how the campaign works in the real settings where families and the people who support them already connect, before we take it national.

This fall we'll be partnering with 20 family support programs from around the country to bring One a Day to the families they serve over six weeks — giving us an honest read on what works across different communities, program types, and platforms.

When the pilot wraps, we'll sit down with parent leaders from participating programs to learn what landed, what didn't, and what families actually need. Their feedback shapes what comes next.

Let's build something together.

Whether you're a funder, a potential partner, or a program looking to bring this work to your families — we'd love to hear from you.
